Hi friends,
I’m Mary, Aesthetician at Concierge Care Naples, and I’m very excited to share one of my favorite regenerative treatments with you – Exosome therapy using the industry-leading BENEV Exosome technology. If you’ve been looking for a way to rejuvenate your skin, restore thinning hair, or simply take your treatments to the next level, exosomes might be exactly what you’ve been waiting for.
I’ve been blown away by the results I’ve seen in my clients (and myself!) since the doctor added BENEV Exosomes to our office. These powerful treatments are changing the game in aesthetics, and I want to give you a little inside look at how they work and what they can do for you.
First things first… what are exosomes?

Think of exosomes as tiny messengers produced by stem cells. Their job is to send signals to other cells to promote healing, reduce inflammation, and trigger regeneration. Exosomes are responsible for cell-to-cell communication and for facilitating the exchange of RNA and other important proteins between cells (e.g. fibroblasts, keratinocytes, immune cells etc.) They’re packed with growth factors, peptides, coenzymes, minerals, amino acids and vitamins that help repair and rejuvenate skin and scalp tissue.
The BENEV brand is my go-to because their exosomes are top-quality, clinically proven, and ethically sourced, which is so important to me when choosing products for your treatments.
Here’s how I use BENEV Exosomes in my treatments:
✨ Skin Rejuvenation
I love pairing exosomes with treatments like microneedling and laser therapy. These procedures create tiny micro-channels in the skin, and when I apply exosomes which is the consistency of a serum, immediately afterward, they absorb quickly into the skin delivering the concentrated power of over 5 billion lyophilized exosomes “nanoparticles” to enhance your body’s natural healing response to rejuvenate the skin and promote a more youthful healthy appearance.
The results?
- Smoother, brighter, more hydrated skin
- Fewer fine lines and wrinkles 300% increase in elastin
- 180% increase in fibroblast
- Improved skin texture, tone, pore size, and scarring
- Less redness and irritation post-treatment by 50%
It’s one of my favorite ways to give your skin that healthy, radiant glow.
✨ Hair Restoration
If you’ve been noticing thinning hair or an unhealthy scalp, I also use BENEV Exosomes Regenerative Complex+ to support hair regrowth. I combine microneedling of the scalp with exosome application to stimulate dormant hair follicles and promote a healthier environment for stronger, thicker hair.
This is such a game-changer for anyone who wants to slow down shedding and encourage natural regrowth without surgery or medication.
✨ Faster Recovery After Advanced Treatments
I also recommend exosomes if you’re having more intense procedures like radiofrequency microneedling, chemical peels or laser resurfacing. They help minimize downtime, reduce inflammation, and speed up the healing process so you can enjoy your results even sooner.
Let’s Get Into The Science:

I have had questions from people who have misinformation about the risks of exosomes. Do they have risks of tumors, unwanted immune responses, how they compare to stem cells and whether DNA is in the product. I am interested in the science, and I will answer some of those common questions below.
How do exosomes compare to stem cells and is there a risk of tumor formation?
Exosomes are nanovesicles (30–200 nm) released by almost all cells and found in all body fluids. Exosomes deliver their cargo (proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids) from originating cells to recipient cells. Growing evidence suggests that exosomes derived from stem cells could be a promising alternative to cell-based therapy because exosomes would avoid most of the problems associated with cell-based therapy while recapitulating the therapeutic efficacy of stem cells. For example, exosomes have no risk of tumor formation as they cannot replicate. Stem cells and stem cell exosomes are fundamentally different. Stem cells are live cells, but stem cell-derived exosomes are not live. In terms of the risk of adverse effects, since exosomes are not living cells, there is a much lower risk of adverse effects, such as immune rejection, tumor formation, and infection, which can occur with stem cell transplantation.
Is DNA in the product and is it safe to use exosomes often?
They also can be sterilized by filtration and have a longer shelf-life than cells themselves. Benev’s exosomes are much smaller than stem cells, exosomes easily circulate through the body and reach sites of injury. In addition, long-term repetitive administration of exosomes does not elicit toxicity.
Can exosomes trigger unwanted immune responses?
Extracellular vesicles (EVs), small vesicles that are released by virtually all cell types, with an innate ability to mediate the transmission of signaling molecules (proteins, small RNAs, and DNA) between cells are among the factors that are involved in communication between cells. Stem cells have intrinsic regenerative effects that are not only mediated by the repopulation of damaged tissue. The releasing of regulatory molecules is also proposed as one of the most important mechanisms in stem cell therapies. More specifically, small EVs (sEVs) derived from multiple stem cells have demonstrated their capacity to promote tissue regeneration after several types of damage. Compared to stem cells, sEVs are more stable, have no risk of aneuploidy (AN-yoo-PLOY-dee) have a lower chance of immune rejection, and can provide an alternative therapy for various diseases.
What should I know about Benev?
Benev also known as ExoCoBio, is the world’s only pharmaceutical manufacturer of exosomes. Benev has invested 80 million dollars into in exosome research and manufacturing at their 22,000 sq ft facility in South Korea. Why is this important to understand? A Pharmaceutical manufacturer ensures unmatched regulatory standards, quality, purity, and consistency every time. Benev Exosomes are the ONLY product allowed to use “human adipose stromal cell exosomes” in their approved list of ingredients printed on the packaging. Their isolated and purified exosomes have been accepted by the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) and the International Nomenclature Committee Ingredient (INCI), whose guidance the U.S. FDA follows in these matters.
- Safety
- Reproducibility
- Quality Assurance
- Batch to Batch Consistency
- Batch to Batch Purity & 99.94% Pure Exosomes
Who owns Benev?
ExoCoBio’s CEO, Byong Seung Cho, MBA went from a biotech venture capital to setting up ExoCoBio, a company whose core technology is based on adipose stem-cell derived exosomes for regenerative medicine and medical aesthetics. ExoCoBio researches and developed the world’s first exosome-based cosmeceutical & bio new drug. ExoCoBio was found in 2017 by Byong S. Cho. Byong earned his masters degree in Molecular Biology at Seoul National University in South Korea. He finished his MBA in Venture Management at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
